Golden Globes ceremony/telecast CANCELED.
You know what? I'm actually okay with this. I'm tremendously proud of the WGA -- on both coasts, as well as the international factions -- for taking a stand. I know that at least 70 members of the SAG said, outright, that they weren't going to attend the ceremony in order to stand in solidarity with the writers.
Hats off to the writers and actors. I hope this gets the studios where it hurts.

WGA Strike as it affects 'House':
Nov. 9th, 2007 11:07 am"Production staff at House say they have one more script that they will be shooting next week. After that, the show will slowly shut down production. Actors and most of the crew will be gone by the end of next week. There are a handful of post production people that will have work until the end of January."
Ouch. Kinda' brings it home, doesn't it?
