After three days in the ground

So Todd and I have balcony seats for Ryan Adams on the 24th of October. It was funny. I only heard about the concert yesterday (Todd had set his phone alarm way back in May to remind himself, but he forgot about it/his phone exploded/his alarm was shunted by one that reminded him to watch Mythbusters) because a co-worker of mine, who's also a fan, practically attacked me when I walked in the front door in the morning. He'd heard about it the day before -- the Tuesday I was sick -- and wanted to know if I was down.
Verily, I was.
Presale started at ten o'clock this morning and my co-worker and I kept refreshing our browsers every five seconds until the online buying console went live. We used a super secret government password (provided by a super secret government source) that we had to screw around with case sensitivity to get to work. FINALLY, after what seemed like a Clancy-esque series of failed attempts, we scored four tickets. I don't know if we're necessarily carpooling down there together (Co-Worker has a fiancee he's taking) but it might be worth it if we can score overnight accommodations (Co-Worker's fiancee has the domestic hook-up) because the concert'll let out late and yeah, getting home at three in the morning only to wake up at 6:30 for work. Voted Most Likely To Thhbbbt.
'Got the new Dave Matthews when I was at Starbucks today. Live albums just have a certain somethin'-somethin' to them, don't you think?
Still thinking about graduate school. Still thinking about getting up early on Tuesday to get the House DVDs before work. Still thinking about picnics, pre-emptive strikes against puffery, fornication, flight school, new nail polish, Darwinism, nihilism, botulism, television, extridation, sleeve biting, up-all-nighting.
And, of course, two pieces of warm toast with a little peanut butter.
