One equal temper of heroic hearts

arriterre's package arrived today and I'm currently coveting it with my eyes only because I promised that I'd wait 'til she was around to open it. 'Full effect of surprise and happiness, you see.

But even her handwriting is adorable. 'Even put the little periods behind each letter in U, S, A. Who does that? American penmanship is lazy -- we're lucky if we even get to the "A" at all.

All right. Now I'm coveting it with my hands. It's delightfully lumpy.

Which isn't something that you can always say -- especially about packages, potatoes or skin lesions.
