I thought the stipend I was earning as a graduate assistant ran out at the beginning of the summer. Or, rather, it was supposed to run out. But the professor I am working for pulled some strings, made some calls (to the dean) and now the university is paying me to work through the summer!
Every little bit helps!

It's so convenient when financial fortune coincides with one of my summertime obsessions.
