"I think you are a very bad man," said Dorothy.
"Oh, no, my dear; I am really a very good man; but I'm a very bad Wizard, I must admit."
- The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

oo1. "The Libertine" - Patrick Wolf
The motorway won't take a horse
The wanderer has found a course to follow
The traveler unpacked his bags for the last time
The troubadour cut off his hand and now he wants mine
Oh no, not me

oo2. "Demons" - Guster
Honest is easy
Fiction is where genius lies

oo3. "Sparks Are Gonna' Fly" - Catherine Wheel
Now the sparks are gonna' fly
'Cause I'm turned on again
Burning up the future

oo4. "Tender to the Blues" - James Yorkston & The Athletes
But I'm no fool, my heart's just exposed
I'm just weathering the flows
And I'm not the man you thought, I suppose,
You leave me tender to the blues

oo5. "Airport Song" - Guster
Let me keep you in this place,
You'll be better off this way

oo6. "Louis XIV" - Louis XIV
Well, I'm a weapon of mass destruction
'Got no apologies for a hyper concussion
I might swipe your identity
Take pure love and turn it into obscenity

oo7. "Dharmacide" - Michael Giacchino

Date: 2009-07-22 09:24 pm (UTC)and I'll have you know, as soon as I hit the dl page - my iTunes decided that Rockapella's cover of "It's a Small World" was appropriate, though I'm not sure I know why - it just sort of amused me for some reason.

Date: 2009-09-16 01:16 pm (UTC)“Honest is easy, Fiction is where genius lie” Perfect!
“Dharmacide” is such a great character theme for him. The beginning is dangerous and evil, the middle heartbreaking and emotional and the end malicious. It’s complex, like the character. Giacchino's a genius
The Oz quote is fantastic. I love all those references in the show.
