So, I finally caught the Beeb's rejuvenated version of Sherlock Holmes (titled, cleverly, Sherlock) by the Grand High Moff. My impression? Pretty good! There's just enough of a modern edge to it to keep the storyline exciting, while diehard Conan Doyle fans will pick up on the little crumbs of canon sprinkled throughout the script. It's got something for everyone. (Including some pretty recognizable homoerotic subtext...which, I suppose just makes it "text?" I don't know. The Moff is already responsible for encouraging one part of my skinny British boys fixation, so it's just par for the course at this point.)
ANYWAY.
Here are some icons from the first episode, "A Study in Pink". Comment and credit would be lovely.
I can't believe it's already four thirty in the morning. I should have been in bed hours ago. (Damn you, summertime obsessions!)
