"Time for some thrilling heroics."

Zack Whedon wrote a book about Shepherd Book! I had no idea that a Firefly book series existed. I'm curious but, at the same time, I kind of liked the fact that we knew practically nothing about his character; we were left to speculate about his history with the Alliance, how he became a shepherd, or why he was traveling with the crew of the Serenity in the first place. I enjoy speculating, sometimes even more than finding the answer. That's very Zen, I think.

Also, can anyone explain to me why it's almost impossible to find a nice, silk men's dressing gown for sale in America? Seriously. You have loads of them over in the UK. Perhaps because, as a rule, Americans are very uncomfortable lounging about in their pajamas when there is work to be done. I, personally, would love to putter around the apartment in a nice paisley silk dressing gown. I think it would be incentivizing.

I think I'm going home this weekend. I need it.
