Out on a brisk walk around campus tonight, I snapped a picture of The Chapel of the Resurrection with my camera phone. The sun was going down just behind the stained glass and it looked quite lovely, lit-up, golden, and holy. I've been going to school here for a year and a half and I've never been inside. I think they hold part of the commencement ceremony in the chapel, but I would like to visit before then.
Todd and I are going to get new phones tomorrow. Our two-year contract is up, and we've both experienced problems with the phones that we have now (which would explain why I randomly dial some of you without realizing it -- oops!). I'm not sure what kind of phone to get. Pie-in-the-sky would be an iPhone, but I don't have the money for it. Although, I heard that Verizon is going to start charging cell phone users $30 per month for internet access, even if your phone doesn't have internet access, so we might as well spring for a phone with the technology anyway. The big nerd in me wants to get the phone that Beckett uses on Castle (kind of like how I wanted a Razr after I watched "Failure to Communicate"), but I will probably end up getting something more practical. I should be able to keep my number and I will have them transfer all of my contacts to the new phone. I only wish I could transfer the ringtones I downloaded -- I'm going to miss P!nk's "So What" -- because that was a chunk of change, right there.
Don't know what I'm going to do tonight. Probably shower, make a little dinner, then read more of No Country for Old Men for class this week.
