I don't know what it is with me and egomaniacs. Certainly, they're more fun to play than quote-unquote "well adjusted" people and yes, their choice of wardrobe is so simple as to be admired. (When you're an evil super villain, there's really no need to accessorize beyond the basics: tight-fitting tanktop, dog tags, Glock shoved down the front of your pants.) The egomaniac is the great white shark of the film character genre: streamlined, single-minded, and totally willing to up their "basass" factor by wearing smoked European lenses and saying "I tink not" a lot.
I'm taking an Intro To Shakespeare course this summer to get a leg up on my post-graduate studies. My plan is to show them that, what I lack in upper level coursework with my undergraduate degree, I make up for with my knowledge of English Renaissance theatre. I plan to tackle further coursework -- some of the more heavy-handed subjects -- this Fall.
'Meant to go to the gym today, but I got home and my mom had baked cookies in her new oven. Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies cut my motivation in half (my motivation already has a half-life of, like, ten minutes) so I ended up having three and then decided to take a nap. I'll be good next week. Better than this week, anyway.
My productivity! Let me show you it!
