eCommerce has reordered my priorities.
Aug. 11th, 2007 03:46 pmUgh. It's absolutely terrible that I don't want to leave the house to go to a party because I have an eBay auction up in about five hours. Worse: there will probably be hot dogs and cake at said party.
I'm in a Robert Downey Jr. mood today but the only movie I have with him in it is "In Dreams", which isn't bad per se, if you can overlook the fact that Annette Benning runs around for three-quarters of it whinging about her missing daughter. And I really don't have anything against Annette Benning to begin with -- she did "The American President", which I liked, if you can overlook the fact that she ran around for three-quarters of it whinging about whether or not it was okay to sleep with Michael Douglas (hint: Despite what Catherine Zeta Jones tells you, it is never okay to sleep with Michael Douglas) -- and I think it's cute that she's married to Warren Beatty. You know, in that weird Cryptkeeper way.
So. Suggestions?
Also. Point of discussion: Should I start watching Battlestar Galactica? I got hold of the soundtracks for seasons 1 and 2 this past week and, based on orchestral storytelling alone, I think I'd like it. Of course, getting into it would break my cardinal rule of a having a monogamous relationship with only one television show at a time. 'Course, House is on hiatus until September 25th. Is it cheating if it's in another time zone/zip code/cable channel?
Bollocks all. 'Going to eat cake.
