And we're coming to town / beep, beep

I wiggled back and forth on whether or not to post one of these things, because I'm not entirely sure what function they serve outside of being able to say "MY GIFTS WERE MORE CULTURED AND WELL THOUGHT-OUT THAN YOUR GIFTS," but in the end I rationalized it by telling myself that the briefcase was a pretty good offering from my parents.

Because now I can go into the office and say "MY LUGGAGE IS MORE CULTURED AND WELL-OILED THAN YOURS."

So. Without ado of the furthest variety:

- Barack Obama's book, The Audacity Of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream

- 2 books on mummies/egyptology (Ancient Egypt; Mummies, Diseases and Ancient Civilizations)

- THE PATER CUDDY TWOFER! "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and "The Sting"

- A beautiful fur-lined jacket ('reminds me of something Eowyn would wear)

- A beautiful tasseled scarf ('reminds me of something Cuddy would wear)

- Josh Groban's new CD, "Awake" (WITHBONUSDVDOMG!)

- "The Best of Bowie"

- "Huey Lewis and the News Greatest Hits" (Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there IS more than one track on the CD)

- A couple of sweaters

- Some very lovely jewelry

- DVD player

- Grown-up leather briefcase

- $100 in tasty, tasty unmarked notes

Incidentally, said briefcase was from a store in the mall called Wilson's Leather and, while I am perfectly aware that Wilson is the same as a Smith or Jones as far as the commonality of a surname goes, I couldn't help but suh-mirk and take it so far out of context that I nearly crossed a state line. Merry Christmas, Movie House.

'Speaking of. Come back.
